On May 31, 2018, I lost the privilege to live in a world where babies dying was not something I thought of. I lost the privilege of being a mom to a living child. I lost the privilege of being excited over a pregnancy reaching a certain point and saying, so now we’re safe. I lost the privilege of safety, faith, and naivete.
