Colette Louise Tisdahl was born on May 23, 2018, a force to be reckoned with, and lived her short life inside the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) before gaining her angel wings on May 31, 2018.  In memory of her and inspired by their journey, her parents, Mark and Michelle, founded The Colette Louise Tisdahl Foundation.  The mission of the nonprofit is to improve outcomes of pregnancy, childbirth, prematurity, and infancy, as well as aid in the grieving process through financial assistance, education, and advocacy.  Since the founding of the organization in September 2018, more than 1,800 families have been helped with over $1 million in grants.

For her fifth birthday and angelversary, we are launching two separate programs: (1) random acts of kindness and (2) Daisy Club.

Random Acts of Kindness          

Colette, a little girl who touched so many hearts during her short time on earth, continues to be a shining example of generosity and compassion.  Although her fifth birthday won’t be as we imagined, we still want to honor this special girl who has forever touched our hearts. Daisy Club

Colette’s mom, Michelle, throughout her pregnancy, had vivid dreams of a young girl running ahead of her through fields of daisies.  At the same time, Colette’s great-grandmother (Michelle’s grandmother, known affectionately as Cece) insisted that daisies be planted in a certain section of her beloved garden despite multiple people telling her that they would not grow there.  Shortly after Colette was born, the daisies bloomed exponentially, defying all odds.  They quickly became known as Colette’s daisies, which they still bloom every spring.

In celebration of Colette’s fifth birthday, we are introducing the Daisy Club.  Membership to the club is reserved for those who choose to set up recurring donations of at least $50 monthly.  Membership perks include a 10% discount in our online store, early access to ticket sales and events, and other special privileges in the future.
